Stone Durability

The mission and vocation of the Commission are defined as follows:

• To increase technical monitoring to accurately inform all its members of scientific and technical news concerning Stone (standardization, pre-standardization, conferences, publications…)
• Communication by publications, conferences and training.

Who are we ?

Every session, the meetings assemble about twenty people (of 40+ registered) coming from public , parapublic and private laboratories, well known in their domain (LRMH, CICRP, ECOLE DES MINES D'ALES, EPITOPOS, LERM, GINGER CEBTP, LERM,...), several universities (LM2S de Cergy, Universités d'Orléans et de Reims,..) and from different activity sectors: the SNROC, the CTMNC, PIERRE ACTUAL, ROCAMAT, Groupe LEFEVRE, 3D PIERRE, ...

Our activity since 2002: 

• Organizing Technical Meetings which take place mostly in Paris on topics related to the profession (water-proofing, stone,) 
• Drafting a series of articles for the journal “Pierre Actual” following and about the topics of these Meetings.
• Producing and organizing recurrent technical papers for the members of the Commission.
• Publication of “Pierre & Patrimoine" by Editions Actes Sud.
