His broad research area is 'High-temperature corrosion' with specific focus areas of high-pressure steam oxidation, Hot corrosion, Corrosion of heat-resistant stainless steels, Ni-base superalloys, Additively manufactured alloys, and thermal barrier coatings. His Master's thesis is on the 'Hot corrosion behaviour' of thermal spray coatings, and his Ph.D. thesis is on the 'Oxidation behaviour of Heat-resistant stainless steels and Ni-base superalloys in Advanced Ultra-supercritical steam'.
He has expertise in aqueous corrosion as well, and in corrosion characterization using TEM, SEM, EBSD, APT, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, and nano-indentation techniques. He has led and co-authored several research publications in reputed corrosion journals and has presented their research work in international conferences such as 'Gordon Research Conference', 'EuroCorr', and 'International Corrosion Congress'.
He is looking forward to postdoctoral roles concerning High-temperature corrosion and Aqueous corrosion as well. He can start immediately, and he is committed to adding value to the corrosion community through his work.
