Presentation of the CEFRACOR medal to Professor Frankel during EUROCORR 2019 in Sevilla

The presentation of CEFRACOR "Grand Medal" to Professor Gerald Frankel took place on September 10, 2019 at the opening of the session Mechanisms, methods and modeling of the EUROCORR 2019 congress in Sevilla.

The presentation of the medal by Professor Marcus, President of CEFRACOR, was followed by Professor Frankel's keynote lecture entitled "A new model for pit stability".

Approximately 250 people attended the ceremony and the conference that followed.
