Philippe Marcus receives the Marcel Pourbaix Award

Prof. Philippe Marcus received the Marcel Pourbaix Award from the International Corrosion Council.
Awarded by the International Corrosion Council to corrosion scientists for outstanding contributions to international cooperation in the field of metallic corrosion, the Prize was presented to Philippe Marcus at the Award ceremony held during the opening of the International Corrosion Congress in Xi'an, China on October 23rd, 2024.
Prof. Marcus then gave the Opening Plenary and Award lecture entitled "High resolution surface spectroscopy and imaging to understand and combat corrosion".
Over 1000 participants attended the Award ceremony and lecture.
