Implementation - reinforced concrete structures

The implementation of a cathodic protection installation starts with the treatment of coating concrete to avoid electric discontinuities (delamination of concrete, etc.) and short-circuits. Then, the anodes are placed, and after having checked the elements of the electric circuit, this one is connected.

The electric current, increased by stages when it is turned on, is adjusted after a few months, to ensure that the protection criterion is really reached.
